Course Overview
This 8-hour intermediate CE course is designed as an elective for Florida Public Adjusters (3-20) and is also available as elective CE credit for 6-20 All-Lines Adjusters and other license types. It focuses on the ethical, regulatory, and professional standards that guide insurance practice, with special emphasis on public adjusting responsibilities.
What You Will Learn
The course is organized into five units covering: the definition of key insurance terms; insurance fraud; regulatory ethical standards; regulatory standards of practice; and professional ethical standards and practices. It is intended to help licensees recognize and avoid unethical or non-compliant behavior while strengthening their understanding of how to conduct themselves with integrity in every aspect of their work.
Course Format & Benefits
This Florida intermediate CE course is approved by the Florida Department of Financial Services for 8 hours of CE credit for Public Adjuster (3-20) licenses and is also approved as elective credit for 6-20 All-Lines Adjusters and other licenses. It is delivered completely online with no classroom attendance required. Note: this course does not satisfy the separate 4-hour Law & Ethics Update requirement, which is fulfilled by a different course (INSCE025) available only for 3-20 Public Adjusters.
